Warranty, Terms And Conditions

1). All motorbike barrels received by Aurum Plating are electroplated at our factory located at 25 Ferrier Road, Narangba Qld 4504, Australia
2). Aurum Plating ensures its clients that all motorbike barrels in our possession are looked after with the utmost care and attention.
3). All motorbike barrels sent for repair to Aurum Plating are plated with our trademark coating Nikadure™ to a professional and high standard of quality.
4). The customer agrees that assembly of the motorbike barrel upon receipt, implies satisfaction with our quality of work.
5). The Warranty starts from the date that the barrel leaves our premises.
6). Warranty is for a period of 3 (three) months only and applies to all plated barrels for which payment for services has been received from customer.
7). The Warranty covers only the Nikadure™ coating. It does not cover any rotating, sliding or moving parts.
8). Under the Warranty, the customer is able to have his barrel replated free of charge by Aurum Plating, only in the case that the Nikadure™ coating peels, flakes, cracks or displays unexpected mechanical or physical behaviour - caused by manufacturing fault or defect.
9). Aurum Plating reserves the right to refuse Warranty to clients who have undoubtedly tempered with the coating by any means.
10). In the case where the client uses his or her own piston kit, he/she must ensure that the rings are manufactured of a mild steel material. The Warranty does not cover the use of hard-faced or chromed rings.
11). All pricing is as outlined in the Pricing section of this document
12). Aurum Plating or any of its employees are not to be held liable for any engine parts or motorbike parts that were sent in conjunction with the barrel.

13) The customer is solely responsible for heat tempering his/her barrel. The section about Precipitation Hardening in this website is included as an informational guide only.
