Who Listens to Radio 4RPH?

Anybody with an AM radio can tune in, but our specific audience is the print handicapped, which includes people with:

  • blindness or poor vision
  • quadriplegia
  • intellectual disabilities
  • dyslexia
  • cerebral palsy or multiple sclerosis
  • paralysis as the result of a stroke
  • literacy problems

4RPH is also a valuable resource for people who have never learned to read, and people who are learning English as a second language.

Approximately 20% of Brisbane's population have some difficulty reading... that's over 250,000 people!
