"Incorporating action research into national social programs."

The Prime Ministerial Youth Homeless Taskforce has incorporated in its terms of reference a requirement to develop an action research program. The workshop will detail how action research was incorporated into the core processes of the program and detail developments and insights to date.

Those attending the workshop will be invited to contribute ideas and experiences to extend, qualify or contest the emerging understandings presented. It is hoped that discussion of the Youth Homeless Pilot Programme can lead to a broader discussion about the place, and issues associated with, the use of action research in government funded social programs.
