"Success" in a complex and uncertain world .....

How do we define and achieve success -- as individuals or in our organisations and communities as we approach the next century

Workshop abstract:

Ortrun Zuber-Skerritt

The success of an action research thesis or dissertation at postgraduate level and meeting international quality standards

This workshop is for current postgraduate students - and anyone who intends to become one -- using action research for their higher degree thesis or dissertation. It will start with propositions from the two workshop leaders (15 minutes each), followed by comments from invited students and co-supervisors at Griffith, SCU and IMC who will share their experiences and learnings over the years (about 30 minutes). All participants in the workshop will then be invited to identify the most important factors (for them) leading to a meritorious thesis or dissertation which is acceptable to or praised by external, international examiners within an action research framework (30 minutes)
