About UQ Affiliate Internet Access
- Fees are payable six-monthly in advance. Refer available payment options. GST is included in the pricing quoted. Where you sign up part way through the month, the fees payable will be prorated.
- Unlimited usage hours, but maximum call duration is 4 hours.
- When the account is purchased, your UQ Organisational Unit assigns the account a dedicated amount of monthly download quota. The amount assigned is determined by the UQ Organisational Unit. The cost of monthly download quota usage is included within the fee paid in advance by UQ Business Affiliates. UQ Research Affiliates are charged monthly in arrears for download quota usage.
- All email accounts are automatically assigned 2048MB mail quota. We offer you the option to upgrade your mail quota. To upgrade, simply click on the appropriate 'apply now' button above.
- The Disk Space can be used to save files online for easy access between home and UQ.
- This account is designed for work purposes and therefore has limited access (sorry, no net banking or instant messaging).
- There are two categories of UQ Affiliated groups - UQ Business Affiliates and UQ Research Affiliates. Staff should confirm with their department, which of these two categories they fall into.
- VPN access is an optional extra service, available for a fee to UQ Business Affiliates. Refer to the application form for pricing and further information.
