1)Click [Start].
2)Select 'Settings'.
3)Open 'Network and Dial-up Connections'.
4)Double-click 'Make New Connection'.
5)Click [Next].
6)Select the 'Dial-up to private network' option.
7)Click [Next].
8)Enter in the the UQconnect national dial in number 0198307170.
9)Click [Next].
10)Choose [Next].
11)Replace the name 'My Connection' with 'UQ'.
12)Put a tick in 'Add a shortcut to my desktop'.
13)Click [Finish].
14)Enter in the Username and Password of your account with UQconnect.
15)'Save Password' is optional and can be ticked if desired.
16)Click [Dial] to start the dial in. You may see a 'Connection Established' screen at this stage which is for your information only and can be [closed].
Whilst you are connected you will see an icon: on your systray taskbar (which is normally in the lower right hand corner next to the time). You can right mouse click on this icon and choose [disconnect] whenever you wish to terminate the connection.
