iPhone OS 3.0 will be released on the 19th June 2009. You can install the update to your iPhone 3G using the latest version of iTunes (http://www.apple.com/itunes).
PLEASE NOTE: iPhone OS 3.0 includes a new auto-login feature for Wireless networks. This is causing the Safari web browser to be invoked whenever an iPhone attempts to connect to the UQconnect wireless network. This may be handy if you wish to browse the internet using Safari, however if you only wish to check your UQ email, the auto-login feature is not necessary and in fact becomes annoying. The problem does not exist for users the connect to the Eduroam wireless network, so if you regularly check your mail using UQconnect, you are encouraged to install the Eduroam profile which can be found on this site, and use Eduroam instead to check your email.
