Installation
1) Download for Windows 2000/XP/Vista (32bit Only)
2)Run the downloaded installer and select [ NEXT ] / [ YES ] when prompted as there is no special configuration needed.
You need administrive rights on the computer you are installing it to.
Establishing the VPN connection
1)Click [Start] button.
2)Select 'Programs'.
3)Select 'Cisco Systems VPN Client' from the program groups menu.
4)Select 'VPN Client' to start the VPN Client.
5)Select 'UQ-VPN' from the Connection Entry list.
6)Click [Connect].
7)Enter your 'UQ Sign In' Username and password.
8)Click [OK].
Note: VPN client will now attempt to connect to the UQ VPN Service. If a successful connection is established VPN Client window will flash away and the status of the VPN system Tray icon will be represented by a closed lock.
Congratulations! You are now connected to UQ's VPN Service.
Section 4: Disconnecting from the VPN Connection
1)Double click on the VPN Client Icon on system tray.
2)Select 'UQ-VPN' from the Connection Entry list.
3)Click [Disconnect].
The status bar will change from 'Connected to UQ-VPN' to 'Not connected' and the VPN Client Icon on system tray will change to an open lock. Please wait untill this has happened before proceeding to step 4.
4)Click on the close windows icon to return to the desktop.
