Setting up a connection
Step 1
1)Click on your airport menu and select Open Internet Connect
2)Ensure AirPort is turned on
Step 2
3)Click [ 802.1X ]. If it is not there go into the file menu and select New 802.1X connection

4)Drop down the Configuration box and select Edit Configurations....
Step 4
5)Enter your username@uq.edu.au (or your university domain)
6)Enter your password
7)Select eduroam as the wireless network
8)Tick TTLS
9)Click configure
Step 5
10)TTLS Inner Authentication should be: [PAP]
11)Outer Identity should be blank
12)Click [ OK/Continue ] until back to the internet connect window

13)Click [ Connect ]
Connecting to Eduroam
1)Click on your Airport menu and select Eduroam
2)UQ users should open the UQ VPN client before trying to access anything
