If eduroam is rejecting your username/password ensure that your username is in the format username@uq.edu.au.

Creating a Connection
Step 1
a)Click on the AirPort status icon
b)Click on [ Open Network Preferences... ]
Step 2
a)Select [ Airport ] from the list on the left-hand side
b)Click [ Advanced ]
Step 3
a)Click [ 802.1X ]
b)Click [ + ]
c)Click [ Add User Profile ]
Step 4
a)Type eduroam as the profile name
b)Enter your UQ username as username@uq.edu.au. Setting a password is optional
c)Tick "Always prompt for password"
d)Ensure only TTLS is checked
e)With TTLS checked, click [ Configure... ]
Step 5
a)Set the TTLS Inner Authentication to PAP
b)Click [ OK ]
Step 6
a)In the 'Wireless Network' field, type "eduroam"
b)Select [ WPA Enterprise ] as the Security Type.
c)Click [ OK ]
Step 7
a)Click [ Apply ]
b)Click [ Advanced ]

a)Click [+]

a)Type network name eduroam
b)Set security to [ WPA Enterprise ]
c)If you did not set a username in Step 4 you will need to do this now. Note: Username is in uqusername@uq.edu.au format.
d)Select [ eduroam ]
e)Click [ Add ]

a)Ensure your username and password are correct. Note: Username is in uqusername@uq.edu.au format.
b)Click [ OK ]

Connecting to eduroam
Please ensure you are in a UQConnect WiFi Zone
Step 1 - Turning on AirPort
1)Click the Airport Icon
2)Click [ Turn AirPort On ]
Step 2 - Connecting to Eduroam
1)Click the Airport Icon
2)Click [ eduroam ]
Step 3 - Login (if you haven't saved the password in previous steps)
1)Enter your username and/or password. Note: Username is in uqusername@uq.edu.au format.
2)Click [ OK ]
Security Certificate
First time connecting you will receive a security certificate warning.
a)Click [ Continue ] to accept the certificate
