Singapore Satay Marinade


Ingredients

grated rind of 1 lemon
1 onion, chopped
2 tblsp soy sauce
2 tblsp sesame oil
2 tsp ground coriander
1 tsp ground cumin
½ tsp ground turmeric
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 tblsp peanut butter
1 tblsp fish sauce

 

Method

Place all the ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth. Add a little water, if necessary, to facilitate blending. Use this marinade for beef, pork and chicken. Leftover marinade can be used to baste the food during cooking.
