GARAGE SALE.

Very successful from very early! Over $1300 raised. The pickles and jams were so popular we must make more for next time. Books are still available. Please take (buy) some – very cheap. President June wishes to thank everybody who worked so hard Friday and Saturday to achieve this great result.
RAFFLE.

Next time you see Marianne Filet ask her what the food is like at Baguette. She should know as she was the lucky winner of the $100 voucher to spend at Baguette Restaurant. Congratulations Marrianne.

GARAGE SALE 2005.

There will a garage sale next year. About March/April again. Don’t throw anything out. If your garage and spare bedroom overflow, store it under the clubhouse. And don’t forget those jams and pickles!

COME 'N' TRY

The March sessions went well with the numbers being boosted Day 1 by members of the Auchenflower Residents’ Association On Day 2 we were joined by some members of the Glorious Group Book Club. Some younger (and Fitter) visitors paid their way by helping Beryl and John cut down a couple of trees so our new watchman light can shine through..Day3 was even busier with all lawns occupied as were all club members in attendance.

PARTIES

Check the diary near the phone and you may be amazed to see how many people hire our club these days. This brings in important income and we need help to supervise the visitors. Often, all it needs is somebody to sit in the clubhouse drinking tea until the visitors leave so you can lock up. If you can help in any small way, please see June. But don’t worry about the visitors taking over. Our plan is to reserve Lawn 2 for members so you can be assured of a game whenever the mood takes you.
LIGHTS

What lights? Did I hear you ask? We now have 4x500w halogen lights to light lawn 1, with help from the watchman light. Come’n’try. All we ask is a modest donation of $2 per head to pay the electricity bill.
COMMITEE MINUTES

These are posted on the notice board. If you don’t read them you won’t know what is going on and you will have nothing to say at the next general meeting – 15 May 11.00 am.
COACHING.

CAQ have produced a clever formula and have asked all clubs to review the bisquing of all members. To ensure we compare well against other clubs June will be running coaching session from 9 am. Every Wednesday, starting immediately. Non attenders will be placed on washing up duties.
