EDITORIAL
This is not a precedent! Do not expect a
MacChat every month. This is to be an
occasional publication, issued whenever
there are enough items to fill a page. All
contributions and suggestions will be
welcomed. For example, if you have an
idea or suggestion you want discussed
let me know. This news letter is a good
way of letting everybody hear your idea.
| Mahjong.
Our Mahjong players gather every
Wednesday afternoon to get on the tiles.
Let your friends know what is going on
and they don’t have to play croquet.
special rates are available for those who
only want to play Mahjong.

Parties.
At the time of writing we have
confirmed party bookings for 5th, 6th,
12th and 20th June.
Sunday afternoon 6 June is a fund raiser
for the Starlight Foundation with about
150 people coming.
Help! Let June know if you can be there
that afternoon.
Lawns
The fusspots among our readers may
have noticed that the lawns are a bit
rough (being polite). We have applied to
the Dept of Sports and Recreation for a
grant. If we get it we will be able to
scarify the lawns and top dress a couple
which will make a big difference. If we
don't get the grant we will have to
decide what comes first - a good
cylinder mower or scarified lawns - as
our funds are still limited.
Keep your fingers crossed.
