Everybody enjoys using the Internet, unfortunately SPAM can interfere this. If you find you are receiving a lot of SPAM and would like to know what you can do, then please read below
What can you do to prevent it?
- Take advantage of our SPAM filters - We've developed our own internal SPAM filter called SPAM Assassin. We receive information from a number of anti-SPAM sources that allows us to "tag" known sources of SPAM. You can set up your email client to prevent email arriving in your "inbox" from such sources.
In some cases where a massive amount of SPAM is coming from one source, we will block that address entirely.
To find out more, please visit our SPAM Assassin page.
We have recently released a self-service spam filtering function into our webmail client. This lets you set your own levels of SPAM protection. To take advantage of this log into your Webmail.
- Use a third party SPAM filter on your computer and keep it regularly updated. The Internet Industry Association (IIA) has a comprehensive list of SPAM filters available on the market.
