How to join the Eating Disorders Association Inc (Qld)

If you live in Australia or New Zealand you can join the Eating Disorders Association Inc (Qld) by filling out our official membership form. Membership forms are available from the Resource Centre at 12 Chatsworth Rd, Greenslopes, Qld, 4120 or can be found on the back page of our newsletter "Through the Looking Glass".

Financial membership of the Association entitles you to vote at our annual general meeting, and brings some advantages when borrowing from our library. You also receive a one year subscription to Through the Looking Glass, the official Newsletter of the Eating Disorders Association Inc (Qld).

Remember, membership of an organisation such as ours also means you contribute to our political strength and our ability to lobby for real improvements in treatment, support and community awareness.

Members of the Association are also invited to take part in fundraising and awareness activities

If you would like a membership form sent to you simply fill in your name and address below and it will be posted via normal "snail-mail" on the next business day. Please note that the Association can not accept international memberships at this point in time - you must be living in Australia.

As of August 2009, we are now able to accept membership subscriptions online. If you would like to join or update your membership this way, simply use your internet banking service to pay your membership fee. If you do this, it's important that you indicate your name and 'EDA membership' as a reference. Please also email us to tell us you have done this, including your name, postal address, phone number, email address and the type of membership chosen, so that we can enter you on to our database.
