HH Maharaja BRIJ MOHAN DEO 1897/1939, born 14th May 1896, O.B.E., educated at Rajkumar College, Raipur; married 1916, Rajkumari Suratarangini Devi [HH Maharani Suratarangini Devi of Kalahandi], only daughter of Raja SATCHITANANDA TRIBHUBAN DEB of Bamra, and had issue. He died 19th September 1939.
    • Tikayet Rani Kusum Manjari Devi, married Tikayat Nrupendra Narayan Singh Deo, eldest son and heir of Maharaja ADITYA PRATAP SINGH Deo of Seraikella, and had issue, six sons and four daughters. She died 1990.

    • Rani Jyoti Manjari Devi, born 1st January 1920, she joined active politics by joining the Ganatantra Parishad Party in 1955, and had a keen interest in education for the people of her constituency of Deogarh; M.L.A. She died 30th January 1986.
