PREDECESSORS AND SHORT HISTORY: This is a leading estate established by the
Kumpawat clan of Rathores in 1635. Thakur Mahesh Das, son of Rao Kumpa
of Marwar, was father of a son, Thakur
Aas Karan, who was granted the estate of Digai in 1616. His eldest son,
Thakur Amar Singh succeeded in Digai and won Siriyari from the Solanki
Rajputs in a battle in 1635. Estate holders were...
- Thakur AMAR SINGH 1635/-, married and had issue, twelve
sons.
- Thakur Govind Das, he was granted Sinchana; married and
had issue (Thakurs of Melap).
- Thakur Dayal Das, married and had issue.
- Thakur Bal Ram, married and had issue (Thakurs of
Madla).
- Thakur KESARI SINGH (qv)
- Thakur Rancho Das, married and had issue (Thakurs of
Pachando)
- Thakur KESARI SINGH -/1665, he was granted Siriyari with 6
villages; he fought in the battle of Dharmat in 1658, married and had
issue, seven sons. He died 1665.

- Thakur Jagat Singh, married and had issue.
- Kunwar Malam Singh of Bhopalsingh ka Gurha, he was
adopted by Thakur Daulat Singh, and succeeded as Thakur Malam Singh of
Siriyari (see below).
- Thakur ROOP SINGH 1665/1706, married and had issue, one son.
- Thakur HATHI SINGH 1706/-, he was confirmed in his
possession of Siriyari, married and had issue, three sons.
- Thakur SURAJ MAL, he opposed Maharaja Abhai Singh of
Jodhpur, for which his estate of was confiscated; married and had issue.
- Thakur SANGRAM SINGH (qv)
- Thakur SANGRAM SINGH, he was re-granted Siriyari with 4
villages with a revenue of Rs. 4600 in 1751, he was further given an
estate of Rs. 4000 in 1756; married and had issue, two sons and one
daughter.
- Baisa Ratan Kanwar, married Rawat PRATAP SINGH of Amet.
- Thakur JODH SINGH -/1792, he succeeded his father and later
increased his estate to 7 villages with a revenue of Rs. 4800; married
and had issue. He died 1792.
- Thakur DAULAT SINGH 1792/1804, married Thakurani Bisam
Kanwar, daughter of Chundawat Thakur Budh Singh of Daulat Garh. He died
spm 1804, leaving an adopted son.

- Thakur MALAM SINGH 1804/1816, born as Kunwar Malam Singh of
Bhopalsingh ka Gurha, he was adopted by his predecessor, married and
had adoptive issue. He died sp 1816 in a battle with the Nawab
of Tonk.

- Thakur RATAN SINGH 1816/1862, married Thakurani Indra
Kanwar, daughter of Thakur Fateh Singh of Kerya in Udaipur, and had
issue, two sons. He died 1862.

- Thakur SHIVNATH SINGH 1862/1892, married three wives and
had issue, four sons and five daughters. He died 1892.
- Thakur MUKUND SINGH 1892/1900, died spm 1900.
- Thakur SADUL SINGH 1900/1936, married and had issue, one
son and one daughter. He died 1936.
- Thakur NATHU SINGH 1936/-, born 1884, married 1898, and had
issue, two sons and three daughters.

- Thakur Jorawar Singh, married and had issue, two sons and
five daughters.
- Thakur Jayendra Singh, married Thakurani Ranawatji
Gomati Kanwar of Akaltara.
- Thakur Pramod Singh, married Thakurani Uma Kanwar,
daughter of Thakur Hanwant Singh of Kalandri.
- Baisa Budh Kanwar (eldest daughter), married Khichi
Thakur Shravan Singh of Indroka.
- Baisa Mohan Kanwar (second daughter), married Chundawat
Thakur Ghanshyam Singh of Gyangarh in Udaipur.
- Baisa Suraj Kanwar (third daughter), married Maharaj
Manu Maheep Singh of Shivrati in Udaipur.
- Baisa Puran Kanwar (fourth daughter), married
in Bhunas in Udaipur.
- Baisa Kunkum Kanwar (fifth daughter), married in
Akaltara.
- Thakur KHANGAR SINGH -/1967, born 1901, married 1917,
Thakurani Chundawatji Phool Kanwar of Suras, and had issue, three sons
and one daughter. He died 1967.
- Kunwar Bijay Singh, born 1920, educated at Allahabad
University (Law); he entered politics after resigning his government
job; elected Member of Rajya Sabha 1960/1964; married Kunwarani Uchhab
Kanwar, daughter of Shekhawat Thakur Karni Singh of Adki, and had
issue, three sons and two daughters. He died 1964.

- Thakur Dalip Singh, married Thakurani Madhulika Kanwar,
daughter of Rawat LALIT SINGH of Bansi
in Udaipur.
- Thakur Shyam Singh, married Thakurani Jitendra Kanwar,
daughter of Thakur Narpat Singh of Badagam in Gujarat.
- Thakur Dalpat Singh, born 1922, educated at Allahabad
University (Law); Member of the Rajya Sabha 1964/1972, being elected
after the death of his elder brother; elected to Rajasthan State
Assembly in 1972; married Thakurani Shubh Kanwar, daughter of Ranawat
Thakur Chhotu Singh of Chalalia in Udaipur, and had issue, two sons and
three daughters. He died in 1991.

Kanwar, daughter of Maharaj Girvar Singh of Karwar in Kotah.
- Thakur Surendra Singh, married Thakurani Renu Kanwar,
daughter of Thakur Shivraj Singh of Kotda.

Thakur Ganpat Singh of Madela.
- Baisa Lalita Kanwar (second daughter), married Nathawat
Col. Thakur Jitendra Singh of Chomu Family in Jaipur.

- Thakur Gulab Singh, born 1925, married Thakurani Hem
Kanwar, daughter of Sodha Thakur Saidan Singh of Umarkot, and has
issue, one son and one daughter.
- Baisa Uma Kanwar, married Maharaj Kumar Harish Chandra
Singh of Datia.
- Thakur JAGDISH SINGH 1967/-, married 1970, Thakurani Surya
Kanwar, daughter of Thakur Natwar Singh of Badagam in Gujarat, and had
issue, one son.
